What people are saying

Our own search of X found 373 posts in the seven days to October 28 that tie Musk to the Antichrist, 666 or the mark of the beast, and the best-performing post that calls Musk the Antichrist or the mark of the beast had 171 impressions.

@StopTechnocracy · A technocracy writer’s account · X post ·

What the record shows

The Bible uses the word “Antichrist” in only four verses, all in two short letters, 1 John and 2 John, and never in Revelation, the book that holds the number 666.

As we read it, the post does not contain the words Antichrist, 666 or beast, and the rest of this article tests what it does say.

On May 19, 2022, Business Insider, a news site, reported that SpaceX paid a flight attendant $250,000 in 2018 to settle a sexual misconduct claim against Elon Musk (source 10).

Business Insider’s page title says SpaceX paid, and we found no source saying Elon Musk paid from personal funds.

We found neither the friend’s declaration nor the 2018 agreement published.
